Mushroom Leek & Cheese PieThe Coven have been a vegetarian cafe/restaurant for over four years - focusing on breaking some traditions of veggie food and bringing great veggie cuisine to a wider audience.  We use top quality ingredients and season everything to deliver fantastic flavours in food that is filling, too. We are proud of out reputation and constantly work to ensure we live up to your expectations.

Our current menu can be found here (vegetarian menu) ... but our Chef and her 'crew' are happy to use our full range of ingredients to make a variation of listed menu items to suit your taste or special dietary need. We believe that we've gained our reputation for a number of reasons, including

  • having two creative & innovative chefs who can create great dishes within the vegetarian limits
  • using top quality ingredients - including excellent cheeses & seasonings that do so much to add great flavours and richness to veggie dishes.
  • our desire and commercial need to encourage non-vegetarians to enjoy our menu - even now, over 90% of our veggie-menu customers are omnivores who find that they can enjoy great food without the meat.
  • and, of course, great guests who continue to provide useful feedback & ideas for our menus
